Dear Jody, Debbie, and families,
My sincere heartfelt condolences to you all. I would like to share a story about Aunt Annis Dell. On one of our visits to Parsons from Ohio Aunt Annis Dell greeted us in Grandma and Grandads front yard. I didn't know her as well as Aunt Ottie or Aunt Johanna. She zoned in on me with a grin as the shy girl that I was and still am somewhat was holding tightly onto my Dads (BERT)leg. She said something like "I like little girls like you and I am going to take you home with me". I didn't hardly know this woman and she is taking me home I thought to myself. My heart fell to my feet and my body tensed up and I said: "OH NO YOU ARE NOT!! as I held on even tighter to My Dad as they both snickered at each other. I had almost forgot that day until my Dad Bert who now lives with me brought it up one day. I now do remember that day very clearly. Distance has not kept me from loving and respecting my Aunts. They have all touched my life probably more than they have ever realized. I love them all very much. They have all had a part of making me who I am today and I am forever thankful for that.
Our thoughts are with you, Love,
Karen (Hedrick) Jepson
