Condolence From: John De Gregory
Condolence: My family and I are deeply saddened with the passing of Dr. Salbert. We first met Dr. Paul Salbert in 1991 havin just moved into the area and soon realized how lucky we were to have found such a caring physician we could call “friend.” I regret that my condolences are being sent so late. It has been many years since my family and I moved from Burke and it was only a few minutes ago that I became aware of Paul’s passing while searching for information on Viriginia Family Health. We have always thought fondly of Paul, Janet, and their four wonderful boys (my daughter baby sat the boys on several occasions and Janet married my daughter). It hurts and saddens me that we have lost, not only a wonderful physician but one who always made you feel that he was there for you and that he cared. We won’t forget Paul, for he touched our lives and made a difference. We thank God we were able to meet him. Our prayer’s and condolences go out to Janet and her family for the loss of a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. God Bless.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened by the loss of this fine physician. It has been several years since I have been treated, I was looking up the office address as I am filing for VA benefits. I saw Dr. Salbert on multiple occasions while living in Virginia during two period, and he was one of a very few DOs that I trusted implicitly for his manipulations. Living 50 to 100 miles away from the office he always spent a long period with me during the appointments, and the office was helpful in scheduling me to avoid the 95 & 66 traffic.

Being in healthcare, we often had conversations regarding the trends of both allopathic and osteopathic care. I also remember our conversations about wasps, and the beauty he saw in them.

Condolence: 11/7/17/ Since I have not seen Dr. Salbert for several years, I was unaware of his death until I went to his office today to show him photos of my grandchildren. I then researched and learned the sad news that he has passed away over a year ago. Both Gerard and I, and my son and wife ( who worked with him for a while and is from Syracuse) are so very saddened by your loss , for this loss to all served by Dr. Salbert. He was a dynamic and wonderful man who contributed to life and his love for people in so many ways.
