The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gail Witt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Vicki Feuchtwanger

I had the pleasure of working with Gail during the last few years of her government service career at DISA. I was fortunate enough to share a cubicle wall with Gail for a couple years, we frequently shared our feelings about the state of things at work and actually had a few laughs at DISA's expense. Gail was a brilliant woman with a dynamic personality, she helped to calm me on many occasions because I tend to stress over things a bit too much. When I would struggle over how to respond to tasks that I felt would take hours to prepare, Gail would just reach back for past submissions and modify them to meet the task at hand, and she always got it right. I was amazed at her memory and ability to simplify things for efficiency. Gail's work shined, she was proud of our troops and defended their requests whether we expected to get money for what they needed or not. Gail never backed down from a good fight in defense of our troops, I loved her fire, she was an awesome woman and a beautiful friend. I am so very sorry for Gail's early departure from this world, I am grateful to have known her. Peace be with all who loved her.
