Neil Edward Pollock
Neil Edward Pollock, 64, of Manassas, passed away suddenly of a heart attack in his home February 5, 2018.

Born November 22, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Benjamin Pollock and Sara Mazess Pollock. A Graduate of Temple University. On May 21, 1977, Neil married the former Christa Lou Campbell, who survives.

He was the owner of the Neil E. Pollock Nationwide Insurance Agency in Historic Old Town Manassas for over 31 years, retiring in 2016.

A loving and devoted husband and father. His sole purpose was to make his family happy, secure, and make certain they had everything they ever wished for. Generous to a fault. A man of strong convictions with unfaultering principles. Neil saw humor in small things and enjoyed telling a good story. Car, motorcycle, nature, and music enthusiast. He discovered his inner drummer later in life. Constantly learning and finding new interests to enjoy. Neil will be forever missed and always in the hearts of those lucky enough to have known him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Christa Lou Pollock of Manassas; one son, Jordan Douglas Pollock of Centreville; one sister, Barbara J. Oren and her husband Alan of Catskill, NY; one brother, Philip M. Pollock of Peoria, IL; and many loving extended family members and friends.

There will be no public visitation or viewing; the family will receive friends and hold a celebration of Neil’s life on April 12th, 2018 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. For more information and details on this service, please call the funeral home at 703-368-3116.
