Claude Melvin Jerman, Jr. passed away on January 1, 2017. Born on December 2nd, 1939, he was the son of Claude, Sr. and Alma Jerman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Claudia Boyette and his former wife and mother of his children, Ellen Jerman Baker.

Mr. Jerman is survived by his daughters, Connie Crabill, Terry Jerman, Linda Lugiano; a son, Rusty (Genise) Jerman and a sister, Chrystene Paine. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Tanya, Michael, Patricia, Chris, Kalyn, Scotty, Shawnna, Brandon and Brian, a number of great-grandchildren and many friends. He will be greatly missed by his Stock Car family to which he was a very active member for more than 40 years.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6th, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. Immediately following, a funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be at a later date.
