The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kimberly Hunter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Kim

Its easy to overlook the quiet work and strong attitude towards the work and the mission from folks like Kim Hunter, but its hard to overlook their contribution.  Those of us in the front room, calling the meetings and making the connections, knew that Kim was in the back room doing the work that moved the FAA and government projects overall, both military and civilian, to a better place.  Kim had passion for her work, strength of character that never failed her or us, and, as I later discovered, a strong and deep attachment to her husband Ken, with whom she made a welcoming home for their daughter and sister.

Its folks like Kim that make our world work, and work better, and our country stronger.   I honor her and will not forget her, and I promise to do what I can to comfort and support her family as she supported so many of us.
