Garnett McGuire  Womack
Garnett McGuire Womack was born on March 24th 1936 in Halifax Virginia.

He was married to Linda Arrendall Womack in Halifax Virginia on December 20th 1958.

He passed away on June 27, 2016 in Manassas Virginia surrounded by his loved ones at his home.

He is survived by wife Linda Womack and his two daughters Kim Saphonchak and Annette Womack. He also had three grandchildren Jo Gayle Guthrie, Daniel Kirby and Nicholas Saphonchak, his mother Catherine Womack and two brothers C. J. Womack and Ernest Womack.

He was preceded in death by his Father Charlie Womack and Brother Lemuel “Tiny” Womack.

He was in the Army and National Guard from 1958-1963. He was a professional certified land surveyor for 40 years who owned his own business. He loved to hike, watch birds, to be surrounded by nature, watch the redskins and was a diligent golfer at Evergreen Country club for 20 years.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday June 29, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Baker-Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA 20110. A service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Dr. William T. Higgins III will be officiating. Interment will be in the Manassas City Cemetery.
