Obituary for Arthur Jennings Kincaid

Arthur Jennings  Kincaid
Arthur J. Kincaid, 94, passed away on Friday, June 10th, 2016, at Our Father’s House Christian Home, Culpeper, VA.
He was born December 28th, 1921 in Abraham, WV, where he grew up as a farmer and worked in the coal mines before joining the Army on August 2nd, 1942. He was in New Guinea and Luzon during World War II. After receiving a Combat Infantryman Rifle Expert Badge, he was decorated with 2 Bronze Stars in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, 2 Bronze Stars in the Philippine Liberation, a Good Conduct Ribbon, a Purple Heart and World War II Victory Medal. After the coal mines closed, he moved to VA in 1966 and worked for the GSA until retirement.
Mr. Kincaid was preceded in death by his wife, Rheda Kincaid and grandson, Nathaniel Kincaid.
Survivors include his sons, Glendon A. Kincaid and wife Virginia of Kearneysville,WV and Randall D. Kincaid and wife Deborah of Bealeton, VA: 4 grandchildren, Mandie Kincaid, Michelle Kincaid, Shawn Kincaid, Melissa Wible and husband Mario and 4 great-grandchildren, Isabella Wible, Morgan Kincaid, Billy Mercer, IV and Magdalena Wible.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16th, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA with military honors.
