Homer Harding  Martin
Homer H. Martin, 95, passed away on Thursday May 19, 2016 at the Gainesville Health and Rehab, Gainesville, VA.

He was born on December 7, 1920 to the late Clayton J. and Erma B. Martin in West Virginia.
Homer married Lois June Tenney on April 12, 1947 in West Virginia. He served in the Navy from July 1942 to November 1945. He worked as a Firefighter for 21 years in Clarksburg, WV, retired and worked as a Letter Carrier for US Postal Service, where he retired after 16 years. Homer loved to spend time with his family and fishing with his buddies.


Besides his parents, Homer was predeceased by his son Ronald, four sisters and one brother.

Survivors include his wife Lois, son Gregory J. (Kate); daughter Judy Perry (Bob); seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren;a sister Janis Bowman (Sam).

Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 24, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA. A Service will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 pm.
Interment will be private in West Virginia.
