George Victor  Francis
George Victor Francis, 75, of Manassas, passed away February 4, 2015 at the Adler Center for Caring, Aldie, VA.

Born December 5, 1940 in Darby, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John Francis and Alma Gordon Francis. On August 18th, 1962 in Wildwood, NJ, he married the former Mary Ann Michener, who survives.
Mr. Francis spent over 50 years serving with the CIA and United States Government as an intelligence officer. As a Vietnam Veteran, he served two tours of duty, and was a member of the VFW Post 7589 in Manassas, VA, and the Brotherhood Masonic Lodge #126 in Philadelphia, PA.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Francis of Manassas; three daughters: Sharon Busk (and husband Robert) of Mt. Solon, VA; Vicki Francis of King George, VA; and Kathryn Bundy (and husband James) of Manassas; one brother, John Francis (and wife Maryanna) of New Jersey; and six grandchildren: Sara Francis, Jessica Busk, Christian Francis, Riona Francis, Patrick Busk, and Peyton Bundy.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Friday, Feb 12th from 0930-1020, at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St. SE, Suite 100, Vienna, VA 22180 or to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.
