Betty Rose  Sirotta
Betty R. Sirotta, 84, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Caton Merchant House in Manassas, VA where she was a resident. She was born in Universal, Indiana on May 11, 1931 to the late Calvin and Rosie Graham.

She graduated from high school and secretarial school in Indiana, before coming to Washington D.C. to work as a secretary at the FBI in the early 1950’s. She was united in marriage on February 19, 1954 to Solomon Sirotta who preceded her in death in 2004. They moved to Alexandria, VA where she was a homemaker. She loved being around children and cats and especially enjoyed being with family, friends, and neighbors.

In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by four brothers; John, Rice William T. and Ralph Graham.

She is survived by brothers, Don, Eugene, Raymond, Joseph, and James Graham as well as brother in law Milton Sirotta. Also surviving are a daughter, Judy Perdue and husband Zack of Harrisonburg, VA and a son, Andy Sirotta and wife Julie of Gulf Breeze, FL, and grandchildren Katherine Perdue, Michael Perdue, Emily Sirotta, Sora Sirotta, Jacob Sirotta, Kacie Bratcher and Charles Bratcher.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A brief service will folow at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment and prayers will occur at Quantico National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. where she will be buried with her husband, Sol.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s association.
