Anne Elizabeth Coffman, 97, passed away on July 13, 2015, in Haymarket, Virginia.

Born on November 4, 1917, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillie Evans.

Anne spent her younger years working in a cannery, helping on the family farm, and most importantly, being a wonderful homemaker, while raising her family. She was very strong in her Christian faith and was a member of Loch Lomand Baptist Church in Manassas, VA for many years before moving to Fredericksburg, VA to live with her daughter. There, she attended Hollywood Church of the Brethren, and later attended Little River Baptist Church in Aldie, VA, while living with her son.

She enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with her family. Family was her priority and she looked forward to her family reunions on Skyland Drive and at family member’s homes.

Besides her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Raymond Coffman; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and George Barron; daughter-in-law, Audrey Coffman; and granddaughter, Jackie Coffman.
She is survived by son, Robert Lee Coffman; grandchildren, Janet Jones, Sandra Coffman, Robert Barron, and JoAnn Barron Pope; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Anne also had a very special extended family of 5 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren who meant the world to her.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home, Lee Chapel located at 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, Virginia. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rick Ritchie officiating.

Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Bealeton, Virginia.
