Jerry Johnson, 79, of Bealeton, Va. (formerly of Arlington, Va.), passed away on April 12, 2015, at Virginia Hospital Center.

Son of the late Paul Sr. and Ressie Johnson, he was one of nine children and was predeceased by four brothers, Paul Jr., Jack, Melvin and James. Surviving are two brothers, Richard and Clifford, and two sisters, Betty White and Brenda Dorchak. He is also survived by his three sons; Steve, Scott (Yvonne) and Daniel (Julie); nine grandchildren Christina, Jordon, Amber, Corrisa, Elijah, Hope, Jonathan, Jeremy, Daniel Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry deeply loved his family, sports, NASCAR and growing up in Glen Carlyn in Arlington.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home, Lee Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, Virginia. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project and American Heart Association.
