Obituary for Jean Louise Taylor

Jean Louise Taylor
On January 26th, 2018, Jean Louise Taylor of Manassas, Virginia passed away at home with her family by her side.

Jean was born April 10th, 1944 in Skowhegan, Maine where she and her two sisters grew up. In 1959, they then moved to Northern Virginia, where she met her husband Grover C. Taylor. Shortly after that, her name was changed to mom, as she was blessed with three wonderful children whom she loved with all of her heart; Ronnie, Debbie and Grover. After they raised their three children, her name went from mom, to Nana to Great-Nana. She had six grandchildren and three beautiful great grandchildren that will continue to keep her alive by all the amazing memories they’ve made throughout the many years that they got to spend with her. Jean is also survived by a sister and brother- in-law both located in Arizona.

Ms. Taylor was the most-friendly woman and would talk to anyone like she’s known them for years. She loved spending quality time with her family and enjoyed spending time with her friends at BINGO.

Everyone will remember her as the funny, sweet lady that always made you feel loved, and will forever be in our hearts and missed by so many people.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.

Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.
