Obituary for Shawn Edward Page

On December 31, 2017, Shawn Edward Page passed away peacefully at the age of 36.

Shawn Edward Page was born on August 25, 1981, in Fairfax, Virginia, to Carmella Page and Tony Brooks.
He was the oldest of four children and grew up in Fairfax City and Chantilly with his mother, sisters, and brother. He attended public schools in Fairfax County and obtained his HVAC license after graduation.
Shawn had a calm, balanced and very laid-back personality; and he loved being with people. He was very generous and never judged anyone. He had a heart of gold; once you met him you had a friend for life. He was a simple man who loved his children, family, and friends very much.

He also could fix anything and even as a small child loved to take things apart and put them back together. He loved working on cars and racing them when he had time. He obtained his motorcycle license in April, which brought him so much joy. Something he always wanted to have.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Louise Page, whom helped raise him and whom he cherished.

Shawn is survived by a host of family and friends who all loved him immensely, more than words can express. He will forever be remembered by his mother, Carmella Page (Anthony), his partner, Angela Serpas; his beloved children, Alicia, Shawn (Cito), Maria and Camila; his sisters, Nina (Daniel), Simone and brother, Anthony; his aunt Rene Jacobs and her husband Brian; his uncle Binky and wife Val; his grandmother Alice Page and grandfather Clarence Page and his wife, Willi; his nieces, Makayla, Cherish and London, nephews, Makal and Mekhi; cousins, Danielle, Michelle, Shannon (Sam), Aliyah and Maya; his dog “Barry”; best friends/brothers, Josh, J.D. Will, David, and Victor; and countless other friends and family members.

Although his time was cut short, there will always be a part of him with us.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 11, 2017 at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. A viewing will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
