Condolence: The death of a loved one is difficult, especially when it is so unexpected. Please take comfort in the knowledge that our heavenly father understands the sting of death as he also experienced the death of his only-begotten son—his first-born, Jesus Christ. But God gave Jesus “the keys of death” to use in releasing others from mankind’s common grave and from the effects sin (Rev 1:18). So Jesus will unlock the gates of the grave, just as he ordered that the stone of Lazarus’ tomb be rolled away. Jesus will bring back to life those who sleep in death just as he did for Lazarus (John 11:40-44). Now try to imagine the happy reunion when friends and relatives,once separated by death, embrace Thomas again! I send my deepest sympathy to you at the loss of your dear loved one.
