Charles Edward Jones, Sr., 78, of Haymarket, Virginia, joined his Lord in heaven on November 9, 2017. He was loved by all who knew him. His integrity was unsurpassed.

He was born on September 15, 1939 in Lignum, Virginia. He was the first of the five boys born to Milton and Ethel Jones.

Charlie's family was the most important thing in his life. His unique smile could light up any room. Even during his numerous illnesses, his sense of humor and flirtatious nature showed through. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, five children, eleven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren fishing, hunting, horse racing, playing cards or any other family activity.

He took pride in all he did and was a hard and dedicated worker. He was a Mechanic, Shop Forman, and Service Manager at Capital Cadillac. After his retirement, he became the owner of several small businesses.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Doris; his five children and their spouses - Chuck (Karen), Mike (Janis), Mark (Kellie), Mitzi Kesling (Donnie) and Gregory (Eva); his 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia on November 15th, 2017 at 12:30 pm. Interment immediately following at Stonewall Memory Gardens. His son, Pastor Charles Edward Jones, Jr. officiating.
