Robert "Bobby"  Spencer
Robert “Bobby” Spencer, a longtime resident of Manassas, Virginia, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the age of 47. He was on vacation in the Outer Banks.

Bobby was born in New York City on February 24, 1970. He graduated from George Mason University in 1995 with a degree in Biology and worked with tissue diagnostics as a Field Application Specialist for Roche Diagnostics Corporation. He had a passion for wildlife, enjoyed playing tennis and spending his spare time with friends. He had a very kind heart and will be dearly missed by his friends, family, and all who knew and loved him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Spencer.

He leaves behind his mother, Rosemary; his brother, David and his wife Emilie; nephews, Brandon, Nicholas, and Jacob; niece, Malia; and many other loving relatives and friends both personal and professional.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with a reception to follow in the funeral home community room.

Interment will be private and at a later date.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or a donation to the Wildlife Center of Virginia at www.wildlifecenter.org in loving memory of Bobby Spencer.
