Condolence: To the entire Olsen family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I just can not even begin to imagine the weight of your grief. While I did not know Mr. Olsen personally at all, he was always my favorite person to see when I walked in to his store. He had such a charm and light about him that made it was obvious he was a great man. I don't believe I ever saw him without a smile on his face! My heart aches for your loss. With deepest sympathy -

Condolence: Dear Olsen Family: I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Rex's passing on the local news last week. I was a close friend of Rex's son Colin when we were kids, and while we haven't talked in many years, I remember Rex as a kind and generous man. It is clear from the other condolences and his obituary, that Rex was a well loved man. I know that words cannot ease your sorrow, but I wish to express my deepest condolences, and state that I am keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Dearest Olsen Family, I am sincerely sorry and the pain I feel in no way compares to yours. I pray for all of you each day! May you somehow find peace in knowing that Rex touched so many lives in so many ways. He may not physically be here anymore, but we will always remember him. He taught us all to appreciate the little things and we will all see that every day...especially when we see a tomato plant. Sending care and peace to all of you! Rebecca Lowe & Family

Condolence: Dear Julia and family. So sorry to hear of Rex's passing. I will miss our lively FaceBook conversations about Mormonism, religion and politics. We were born no more than a half a mile apart from each other. Rex was one of my brother's very good friends at a young age and then mine after my brother died some years back. Our opinions diverged greatly in some areas and, I think, I was somewhat of an enigma to Rex because of my concerns for the downtrodden and the conservative tenets to to which I adhere. Yet, through all the disagreements, there was always a great foundational connection. That was our common belief in the dignity of the individual. Rex had that. Too soon to lose such a good man. I will seek the Diet Dr. Pepper (might have been Diet Pepsi) he promised me at a later time and place.
