Obituary for John Patrick Costello

John Patrick  Costello
John Patrick Costello passed away on July 23, 2017 at Georgetown University Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 23, 1947 in Tokyo, Japan to US Army pilot John J. Costello and Dorothy Hardin. He received his Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University and spent 35 years working for the government to protect the environment. He recently retired from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C. He loved travel, photography, fishing, and anything that would take him outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Jay. He is survived by his mother Dorothy; wife, Robin; daughter, Jessica and her husband Will; his sister Sharon; and his brother Mike. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
