Carl Francis  Talarico
On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, Carl F. Talarico, 82, of Gainesville, VA passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

He had struggled for months with lung cancer. He was born in Scranton, PA, graduated from Old Forge High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In 1964, he moved to Washington, D.C. where he met his wife Elizabeth Ann, they were married 52 years. He was employed by the Federal government for 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Saracino Talarico and his father Salvadore Talarico of Old Forge.

Carl shared a full life with his family. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ann, their daughter Terry, son-in-law Craig Hansen and their two children Carly Ann and Samantha, and many cousins. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, VA. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8213 Linton Hall Rd, Gainesville, VA.

Interment will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA.
