Obituary for Harry Lee Stevens, Jr.

Harry Lee Stevens, Jr., 49, of Gainesville, passed away unexpectedly June 25, 2017.

Born July 14, 1967 in Goodrich, MI, he was the son of the late Pamela Price Stevens and Harry Lee Stevens, Sr. On January 3, 1987 in Davison, MI, he married the former Dana Rae Winnick, who survives.

Harry served in the United States Army for over 20 years as an engineer, communications specialist, Army recruiter and an Army IG. He worked as a Civilian Inspector General for the Department of Defense, and was a member of both the Regulators Bike Club and the War Fighters Motorcycle Club – George Washington Chapter.

Survivors include his loving wife, Dana Rae Stevens of Gainesville; one daughter, Rhiann Amaya Stevens also of Gainesville; one son, Kyle McKenzie Stevens and his wife LaBrea of Fort Bragg, NC; his father, Harry Stevens, Sr. of Greenbush, MI; two brothers, Eric Helms and his wife Marilyn of TX; Dave Burton of Burton, MI; his mother-in-law, Shirley Ann Winnick also of Burton, MI; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of Harry’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Richard Losa officiating.

Interment with military honors will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
