Obituary for Bobbie Lee Bryant

Bobbie Lee  Bryant
Bobbie Lee Bryant, 74, a resident of Elkton, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2017.

Bobbie was born on October 19, 1942 in Manassas, Virginia to the late Douglas A. and Bessie Mae Bryant.

He was a long time resident of Manassas until moving to Spotsylvania, VA and then later to Elkton, VA in November of 2015.

Bobbie worked for Gregory Construction Company of Manassas for many years. He drove the trucks, worked with the jackhammers, backhoes and any equipment that he needed to use for his job.

He collected coins among other things, and liked to tinker around with old radios. He loved listening to all types of music. Bobbie was also an animal lover and particularly loved Rosie, the donkey that lived next door. They became great friends.

Bobbie also had a sweet tooth and loved cookies and especially chocolate milkshakes.

Besides his parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by his siblings, Douglas Bryant, Virginia Spring, Shirley Payne and Betty Louise Bryant. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Wampler (Bill) of Manassas, VA, and Linda Armstrong of McGaheysville, VA, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. A funeral service will take place beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. William T. Higgins, III officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas, Virginia.
