Obituary for Yolanda Yvette Perry Amoah

Yolanda Amoah, 46 passed away on Tuesday, May 2nd in Gainesville, VA with her husband by her side.

She was born on January 29, 1971 in Oakland, California. Yolanda had a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a certification in Programming and Web Design. She married Joseph Amoah on June 17, 2000 and had two beautiful daughters, Kayla (14 years) and Jordin (9 years). She grew up in Chesapeake, VA and lived in Gainesville, VA.

She was a bright, loving, caring, supportive, funny, God fearing woman. Despite her challenges and battles, she grew stronger in her faith and never stopped believing in God. She trusted and knew God would always be with her and her family.

She is predeceased by her father Emanuel Perry, Sr. and niece Laela Samone Spurlock.

Yolanda is survived by her husband, Joseph, two daughters, Kayla (14 years) and Jordin (9 years), her mother Sheila Perry, step-mother Phinoris Perry, three brothers, Emanuel Perry, Jr, Damone & Keisha (sister-in-law) Perry, Errick Perry, step-brother, Frank Brown, six nephews, one niece, and numerous families and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at 12:30pm in the Baker-Post Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Harris officiating.

Interment will follow the service in Stonewall Memory Gardens.

Family requests that friends wear light color clothing to represent the joy Yolanda represented.
