Condolence: Just think about Larry he was here not by chance, but by God's choosing. His Hand formed him and made him the person he was. He compares him to no one else, he was one of a kind. He lack nothing that God grace could not give him. God had allowed him to be here at this time in history to fulfill God's special purpose for this generation. God Bless the family we are praying for you. To every thing a season...Ecclesiastes 3:1

Condolence From: JAMES HARPER JR
Condolence: Hope and family. I've been to this sight a number of times this week to leave a message of condolence, but couldn't finish. Today, I have to. On behalf of Shirley, the Spare None Bowling Team and me, please accept our sympathy at the home going of our dear friend, bowling buddy and comrade in arms. For the 20 years or so since you all accept me into the family it has been nothing but joy knowing and learning to love all of you. Somewhere along the way, you guys allowed me to join the bowling team and we are still at it (3 games out of 1st place). It was during those weekly bowling games that Larry and I grew closer. We shared a joke or some other way to keep the team loose so we could bowl better. Add to that the many times we shared good times at each others homes, these are memories that will last forever. I know how much you are hurting because we are too. But God, has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. So lend on this truth. We are all praying that the comforter will come to ease the pain and hurt just as He promised that He would. Much love to you and the family. Jim & Shirley

Condolence From: Debbie Higginbotham Evans
Condolence: Hope I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Larry, was a great boss, friend and will truly be missed. I have fond memories of Larry I remember when I decorated his desk with all Redskins pictures when the "Redskins won the super bowl" and he came in that morning and his face and words were great although we laugh he took it down right away which made it even funnier...also when he had bought his new house and had a party and I will never forget as he showed me the house we were out on the deck and he was so proud of his "shed" and all of a sudden mother nature came and blew it down through the neighbors yards we laughed until we cried...one of those you had to be there but we love it and talked about years later. So shocked to hear this sad news and he will truly be missed. Love to you and your family.

Condolence From: Bobby Smith
Condolence: Hope my Mentor-Smith this is such a surprise and a tragedy with Larry’s passing. We know life isn’t fair and we have to play the hand we are dealt, but we don’t have to like it or somethings get the chance to understand it. I can only hope that Larry isn’t suffering and the family can grow stronger without his presence in your everyday lives, but certainly remain in our hearts and memories. You’re extended family is here for you and your family so don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m sorry I can’t be there to give you a big hug at this time, but I am in sprit. – With warm regards and love – Bobby Smith (your other Smith family)

Condolence: Dear Hope and family, please except my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I worked with Larry at GSA for several years and enjoyed interacting with him. Larry was a quiet and dedicated coworker who you'd usually find concentrating on the task at hand. However, I enjoyed watching his reactions whenever I shared a joke or a story about some idiot in the workplace. The smile on his face and the chuckle he'd try to hide was priceless. Not one to ever share in gossip or bad mouth others, Larry never had a cross word to say to or about anyone. He was truly an awesome human being and I'm will be greatly missed. May you find comfort in your fond memories and the love you shared.
