William "billy" burke

Billy was my dad. He was a good dad.he was always there when i needed him like at dad should be. So when it was time for him to need me i made sure i was there for him..7 yrs ago my dad moved in with me so we could help each other he wasnt able to work any longer so he enjoyed being able to stay at home spend time with his grandkids do things with them they liked to do camping fishing. Out door stuff.he tought his oldest grandson how to mow the grass burn trash.he got to do many things he enjoyed doing the past 5 yrs. 2 years ago is when he started not feeling so well. He took maney trips to the dr. His health wasnt the greatest he 40 yr smoker and drinker. Tho he had been alcohol free For the most of 7 yrs. He had a drink from time to time.. Seeing a few different dr over the 2 yr period he found out he had copd congestive hart falure and im thinking the beginning of liver cancer.but he kept on going. One morning he woke up in serious stomack pain. So to hospital he went and they found this and that but hadnt found the cancer yet. On and off the last 6 month he was in and out of the hospital. Final he was taken to farfaix inova hospital where they then found the liver cancer amd it was by then in the final stages of surosus of the liver witch had become liver cancer. He then told me he wanted to go be comfortable somewhere nice where he could smoke his cigarettes and be able to be outside.. That what we did..nice place out in the country where he spent his lasts days outside on these nice spring day smoking his cigarettes...
