Harbans Kaur (Singh)
Harbans Kaur was born in Rawalpindi,Pakistan (before the great divide of India/Pakistan). She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was well known (and loved) for her amazing home cooking. She moved to the USA in 1985 to help care for her grandchildren and became a U.S. citizen in 1995 at the age of 64. Nani was a very spiritual person, whom was constantly reciting prayers or meditating within her own mind. She took her final journey to be with her beloved Guru on March 2nd 2017 at the age of 86, finally succumbing to stage 4 oral cancer. She passed peacefully with her family surrounding her, and her husband of 69 years, Beant Singh reciting Sukhmani Sahib prayer at her side. She will be greatly missed and we pray that her soul rests in peace.
