Obituary for Janice Lorraine Helbringer
Janice Lorraine Helbringer, 68, of Manassas, VA died peacefully and surrounded by her family at Novant Health UVA Prince William Medical Center on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
Jan (or “Dee” as she was affectionately known by her family) was born in 1948 to the late Raymond and Lorraine Roemer Helbringer. Jan completed the schooling necessary enabling her to obtain a beautician’s license. She also worked many years in retail. Jan was a very quiet and unassuming lady with a subtle sense of humor.
She is survived by her two brothers, Donald and his wife Clara; Robert and sister Sue Helbringer Lunn and her husband Ron as well as her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their last respects to Jan on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Baker Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110 from 6-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Jan’s name to the American Cancer Society. Go to www.cancer.org and select “Donate - Memorial and Honor Giving”.
