William Kermit  Martin
William Kermit "Bill" Martin, of Reva, Virginia, died peacefully at home on December 21st, 2016, at the age of 80. He formerly resided in Manassas, Virginia.

He was born in Hillsville, Virginia on April 28th, 1936, eldest son of the late Rush Howard Martin and Guida Largen Martin. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Newman Martin, Brothers Ray Martin and James Martin and Sister Vaunita Lamprinakos.

Bill served in the U.S. Army and spent much of his life as a drywall mechanic. In more recent years he turned his passion for bowling into a career working for Bowl America in Manassas, from which he had recently retired.

He is survived by his daughters, Janet Cook, and Karen Quick and husband, Andy; Brother Rush Martin, Sister Juanita Ervine; grandchildren Taylor Cook and Daniel Leonard, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at noon on Friday, December 30th at Baker-Post Funeral Home in Manassas, Virginia. Services will take place at 1:00 pm in the Chapel, with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas 12004 Lee Highway Manassas, VA 230109.
