The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting unites family and friends around the globe in lighting candles for one hour to honor the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren who left too soon. As candles are lit at 7:00 p.m. local time, hundreds of thousands of persons commemorate and honor the memory of all children gone too soon. The ceremony consists of readings of poems, songs, stories, reading of our Angel's names with candles being lit.

RSVPs are not required but greatly appreciated. Please RSVP to Jennifer Malloch at tcfmanassas@gmail.com. It would be greatly appreciated If you could specify whether you will be bringing drinks, appetizer or dessert when you RSVP. Please share this information with family, friends and anyone you think would be interested. If you are unable to attend in person, please light a candle from 7 pm until 8 pm in your time zone to honor all of Our Children Gone Too Soon.

Now believed to be the largest mass candle lighting on the globe, the 20th annual Worldwide Candle Lighting, a gift to the bereavement community from The Compassionate Friends, creates a virtual 24-hour wave of light as it moves from time zone to time zone. TCF's WWCL started in the United States in 1997 as a small internet observance, but has since swelled in numbers as word has spread throughout the world of the remembrance. Hundreds of formal candle lighting events are held and thousands of informal candle lightings are conducted in homes as families gather in quiet remembrance of children who have died, but will never be forgotten. The Compassionate Friends and allied organizations are joined by local bereavement groups, churches, funeral homes, hospitals, hospices, children's gardens, schools, cemeteries, and community centers. Services have ranged in size from just a few people to nearly a thousand.

Condolence: So very sorry to learn of the terrible losses your family has sufferd. God's Word tells us that "Our Heavenly Father is the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort"(2 Cor. 1:3). He promises to reunite loves ones when "All those in the memorial tomb hear Christ voice and come out"(John 5:28,29); and they will blessed to enjoy "endless life of perfect peace and happiness here on earth"(Psalms 37:10,11,29). I hope your find these scriptural thoughts comforting.

Condolence From: Chris Joyce & Idleminds family
Condolence: To Nicole, Luke, Parents & family of Dan & Ronin,

We offer our deepest condolences. Dan was a founding member of Idleminds Rock Band from Maryland. Dan was a great songwriter & played Drums on the Idleminds Stuck in the Storage Unit EP. We are greatful for the foundation that Dan built for the band. We are grateful that Nicole & family allowed Dan to be part of the band and allowed him to dedicate years worth of Sunday's and weekend nights to practicing, touring and playing shows for national touring acts such as the Misfits and many, many more across The Delmarva region. It was an unforgettable experience and we are all blessed that we shared those moments with Dan. Thank you for supporting that.

We will rock on in Dan's name forever.
