Obituary for John Mennella
John Mennella, 84, of Manassas, VA, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 1, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents John and Dorothy (Moore) Mennella who predeceased him.
John served in the United States Air force from 1949 to 1952. He worked for IBM from 1957 to 1987 until his retirement. He loved baseball and golf, especially in his retirement.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Thomas Mennella.
John is survived by his wife, Judith Firth Mennella; daughter, Linda Mennella Sipe; son, Jay Mennella; brother, Jerry Mennella; grandchildren, Christina Mennella, Kari Mennella-Hoopes, Joey Mennella, Beth Mennella, Anthony Mennella, John Sipe, Matthew Mennella, and Penny Watkins. He had also the blessings of fourteen great-grandchildren and 4 nephews.

John will be interned at Quantico National Cemetery Triangle, VA on December 12, 2016 at 11:00 am.
