Kathryn A. Ryder, 78, died on November 22, 2016, at Arbor Terrace - Sudley Manor, Manassas, VA. Kate was born on October 5, 1938, in Springfield, IL, to the late Margaret and Thomas O’Connor.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry L. Ryder, and brother, Butch O’Connor.

Kate is survived by daughter Lori and husband John; son Tom and wife Kim and granddaughter Katelyn; daughter Peggy and husband Jeff and grandchildren Connor, Layne and Alexis; and daughter Joyce and granddaughters Megan and Emily. Survivors also include sister Rheta and husband Bob; and sister Mary Carol and husband Wes.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016, at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Praying of the Rosary will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by Interment at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas, VA.
