The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Catherine Beck can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Jahnavi George
Condolence: My Aunt Cathi was always so kind to me. I have many great memories of her, from visiting her in Europe whilst she was stationed in England. To seeing the Play Rent in DC. Also being able to meet my favorite musician Ani Difranco through.
As a little girl I loved going to the Rockville Swim Center with her. She was a loving Aunt, whom I miss.

Condolence: My cousin Cathy was a kind and loving soul. She was always quick to laugh and her smile was like a big warm hug that wrapped itself around you. I'll always remember holidays at our Mom Mom's house when we would all run around playing like a miniature 'wrecking crew' as my grandfather lovingly referred to us. I always admired what Cathy accomplished in life. She was a true champion for others and a beautiful person.

Condolence: Cathy is unforgettable. She left an enduring impression upon every life she touched, and she touched so many. It is difficult to admit she is gone. Time matches on so quickly that years pass between its steps, and by the time we catch up, the one we wanted to stand along side of....is in another platoon, marching far beyond.

Condolence From: Susie Beck-Parker
Condolence: Cathi was always fighting for and donating to many Pro-Choice, and feminist causes. She was in the Air Force and reached Captains rank. She also worked for HRSC before retiring.

She was a go-getter, very focused and was very confident about her opinions and decisions. She was unafraid of standing up to a Colonel or two if she was defending an abused military wife, or child.

In the end she chose a quiet life in West Virginia, and found her "tribe" among the locals at Tari's Restaurant, in Berkeley Springs.

She leaves her siblings: Connie Beck, Debi Beck, Mike Beck, Jim Beck and Susie Beck.
