Ibrahim  Kerem
Ibrahim Kerem 78, of Dale City, Virginia passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. He was born on March 16, 1938 in Turkey, survived by his wife of 51 years Linda G. Kerem, his son Ali R. Kerem, daughter-in-law Dawn M. Kerem, two granddaughters Ariel and Samantha Kerem, one brother Rahmi Kerem, and several nieces and nephews.
Ibrahim was known as Abe to his friends and family. Abe was a very passionate architect with Marriot for 15 years, where he designed many hotels and resorts as well as the Reagan Library in CA. He also spent time with the Prince William County Government where he worked as a plans reviewer. When he retired in 2011 he had a love for gardening since he always had a green thumb. He also spent a lot of time with his family. In his time he had become a devoted Redskins fan. He had rarely once missed a game.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. A second visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Nicopolis United Methodist Church, 1158 Nicopolis Drive, Bedford, VA. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Sines, Jr. officiating.
Interment will immediately follow the service in the Nicopolis United Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Optum Hospice at 4426 Costello Way, Haymarket, VA 20169.
