Obituary for Karin F. Felix
Karin Felix, 58, of South Riding, Virginia, passed away on October 24, 2016.
Born on April 12, 1958, in Thurnau, Germany, Karin attended college at the University of Puerto Rico.
Karin has held a number of jobs, most recently as an accounts payable clerk for Inova. For a number of years, Karin also served as a crossing guard for Little River Elementary School. She loved seeing and talking to the children each day and knew each person, including the school-age children and their siblings, by name.
Karin was the heart and soul of her family and dedicated her life to caring for her siblings, her mother, and her many nieces and nephews. Karin was also a caring and true friend, offering a kind word and a listening ear to anyone in need.
She is survived by her mother, Ingeborg; her brother, Art, his wife Toni, and their children Alexandra and Andrew; her sister, Regina, her partner Michael, and his son Jordan; and her brother Eric, his wife Korin, and their children Morgan, Mia, and Connor.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association or to the charity of your choice.
