Constance Mae  Chaszar
“Connie” was born Constance May Schumhl on December 16, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio. She was wed to Henry E. Jacobs and had three sons; Tom, Jerry and Rob. She lived in the Northern Virginia area for close to fifty years. She spent some of that time working for the Fairfax County Assessment Department as well as Lord and Taylor Department Store. In 1991, she married Charles Chaszar and moved to Heritage Hunt Retirement Community in Gainesville, Virginia where they lived for several years. The Chaszars spent time traveling to Europe and various locations both here as well as abroad. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took extreme joy especially in spending time with her “little ones”, the great grand children. She passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, October 13, 2016 at the age of 90. She is survived by her three sons, their wives, eight grand children and three great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held in Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032, on Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Everyone is asked to gather at the cemetery office by 11:45 a.m.
