Genevieve Paolucci, age 92, went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2016. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Umberto Paolucci.

Genevieve was loved by so many for her vibrant spirit and constant energy. She found great joy in her special relationships with her family, friends and church community. She was preceded in death by her parents and 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Albert (Valerie) Paolucci; three daughters, Christina (Clifton) Fisher, Paula (Richard) Gilbert, and Constance (Themy) Veltsistas; four grandchildren, Catherine Paolucci, Christopher (Kim) Paolucci, Alex Veltsistas, and Tim Veltsistas; one great-grandson, Logan Paolucci; and several nieces and nephews. She also had four step-grandchildren, Henry Spiller, Michael Spiller, Christopher Spiller and Mary Gibson; and several step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, from 6-8pm, at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA 20110. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 10am, at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Rd. Manassas, VA 20110. The mass will be followed by a burial ceremony at Quantico National Cemetery, Joplin Rd. Triangle, VA 22191.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cancer Society in Genevieve's name.
