Obituary for Gregory Sean Ward
Gregory Sean Ward, 30, of Manassas, passed away August 13, 2016.
Born March 22, 1986 in Falls Church, VA, he was the beloved son of Harlan Arthur Ward, Jr. and Kathleen Hughes Ward and beloved brother to Michael Ward and Christopher Ward.
Greg was an Osbourn High School graduate and member of the Osbourn Varsity Baseball Team for the years 2002 & 2003 Greg worked as an electrician and handyman in the construction field, and loved to go fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Kathy Ward and her husband Larry of Manassas; his father, Chip Ward and his wife Janet also of Manassas; two brothers, Michael Ward and Christopher Ward, both of Manassas; one uncle, Gary Hughes; two aunts, Carol and Susan Hughes; and his beloved pet, Teak.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of Greg’s life will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
Interment will be private and take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to The Phoenix House or Pit Bull rescue
