Lawrence Thomas Roper, 74, passed away on July 19, 2016 at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center, Manassas, VA.
Larry leaves behind his beloved siblings, Jacqueline, Sherrianne, John, Gerald and Joan and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
He retired from the Bureau of Engraving in 1994 and was a Vietnam veteran.
Larry was affectionately known as “Mutser” to his family. He loved to play golf, watch wrestling and baseball on TV. He also loved to shop thrift stores.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 22nd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or your local VFW.
