Jeannette grew up on a small family farm in Bucks County, PA and with the encouragement of her mother, Jeannette Woodroffe, became an educator. Upon graduating from Trenton State College, she taught 3rd grade thru 8th grade for 31 years in the Council Rock School District, Newtown, PA. She was much loved by her students and made many great friendships through-out her career. She enjoyed traveling the world, South America, Central America, Canada, Russia, Europe, Middle East, Australia, Japan, and through-out our 50 American States. Jeannette’s friends and family enjoyed traveling with her and have many fond memories. We want to note that Jeannette’s travels included Habitat for Humanity and she was quite proficient at swinging a hammer!

Jeannette leaves behind a legacy of humor, generosity, continual learning, and enjoying life to its fullest and living life on one’s own terms. Her family and friends will miss her immensely. We will all have solace that our many wonderful memories will keep her with us in our hearts.
