Mary Elizabeth Lindsay Cameron fell asleep to her death on June 15, 2016.

Born on December 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Thelma and Robert Johnson.

Mary was a member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 41 years. She loved all creation and the simple things in life, but loved her family and friends most of all. Mary would never turn down an opportunity to spend time with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother and best friend.

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, David J. Stark.

She is survived by her husband of 11 years, William J. Lindsay, who was her best friend and true love. Also surviving are her children; Theresa E. Purcell of Wyoming, Philip A. Murchie of Alaska, Joyce L. Taylor of Arkansas, Rebeccah S. Tanner of Virginia; step-children, April Shanahan of Virginia, Paul Lindsay of Illinois, Alison Barteau of Virginia, and Rebecca Kirkwood of South Carolina.

Mary also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and her dearest childhood friend, Vivian Bellamy of Washington.

Mary loved to laugh and had a smile that would light up a room. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
