David Lee Andrews, 75 of Manassas, Virginia passed from this life on April 2, 2016.

David was born February 17, 1941 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to the late Charles Franklin Andrews and Ellen Louise Hitch.

Along with his wife Ruby Andrews, David leaves behind a Son, David (Teresa) Legros of LaPorte, IN; Daughters , Yvonne (Harry) Hoffmaster, of Rolling Prairie, IN, Evonne (Don) Jankowski of Michigan City, IN, and Annie Smarr of Manassas, VA; step-son, Steven (Cathy) Kleinsmith of Manassas, VA; Grandchildren, Kayla Legros, Kristen (Doug) Rice, Lindsay (Jesse) Bloomer, Amanda Legros, Austin Hoffmaster, Lexi Jankowski, Donnie Jankowski, and Andrew Smarr; and a step-Grandson, Chris Kleinsmith.

Also surviving him are his great granddaughters Audri Legros, Madison Rice, and Sophia Legros; great grandsons, Logan Manley, Jackson Werner, Brock, Blake and Brody Rice; sisters, Valerie (Mark) Howard and Suzanne Caldwell ; brothers, Doug (Joy) Lynch, Tom (Kathi) Swearer, Charles T. (Carolyn) Andrews, as well as longtime friend James (Judy) Bettis.

He was preceded in death by his son, Pete Hoffa and his sister, Judith Caldwell and her husband, Harvey.

David served in the United States Marine Corp, worked for Prince William County Schools in the Maintenance Department in HVAC department, and finished his career as owner of DL Andrews Heating and Air Conditioning.

He was loved many and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Interment will be private and family only at Woodbine Cemetery.
