John Andrew  Gordon
John Andrew Gordon, 61, of Centreville, Virginia, passed away on March 19, 2016 in Fairfax, Virginia.

John was born on July 7, 1954 at St.Vincent’s Hospital, Los Angeles County, California to John Heermans Gordon and Anna Zenshock. He was an only child. He went to military high school in California and to the University of California. He was All State in baseball and football and also played baseball professionally in Mexico. John was self employed as a Personal Protection Specialist. He enjoyed baseball, gardening, fishing, boating, scuba-diving, and most of all his two children.

John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna and his grandmother whom he was very close to.
John is survived by his wife, Shaheena (Haniffa) Gordon; daughters, Jillian Anne Gordon and Jaimee Fiaza Gordon; mother in law, Fiaza Haniffa; and uncle in law, Aziz Haniffa.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens at 1:30 pm.

Light Refreshments will be served at Fiaza Haniffa’s home at 2747 Centreville Road, Herndon, Virginia 20171, following the funeral.
