Albert Joseph  Entremont
Albert Joseph Entremont (Jay) passed away Monday, October 19, at home in Newport, NC surrounded by family.

A native of Reserve, Louisiana, Jay was the son of Maurice Entremont and Marie Lessaigne.

He married Cherie Loraine Mulligan in 1948. Together they raised six children.

Jay was a devoted husband and father, and was affectionately admired by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was the pillar of the family providing strength, love and support, always available to lend a helping hand when the need arose.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jay Paul, 2 brothers and a sister.

Jay is survived by his wife of 67 years, Cherie Entremont, his children Stephen Entremont (Diane), Charmaine Santoni (Bill), Cherie Amedy, Chanette Ledden (Jack), and Johnny Entremont (Barbra); and 15 grandchildren, Jeremy and Jennifer Entremont, Jeffrey Entremont, Billy (Mary), Shannon (Melissa), Chad and Justin (Tabitha) Santoni, Jason and Christopher Amedy, Jack (Kristyn), Ashley, Courtney and Morgan Ledden, Emily and Ryan Entremont and Jeffrey Entremont (Carrrie); 4 great grandchildren, Alex Douglas, Peyton Santoni, Macyie and Lilah Santoni; and his sister Elaine Grob.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 26, 2015, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. Memorial Services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Interment will immediately follow at Quantico National Cemetery in honor of his service in WWII.
