Georgia Edna  Emerick
Georgia Edna Emerick, 64, of Manassas, passed away December 14, 2014 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital after a brief illness.

Born March 26, 1950 in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter the late George and Lillian Johnson Smith.
Ms. Emerick was a customer service and sales representative for A -1 Glass Co. Inc., of Manassas for over 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her life partner, Thomas Stinson; and three brothers, Burton L. Smith, Robert G. Smith and Bruce Eiselt.

Survivors include her two daughters, Michelle Corum of Manassas; April Donais and her husband Chris of Sarasota, FL; two sisters, Frances DiCiccio and her husband Andrew of Manassas; Rose Stinson and her husband Jay of Midland, PA; one sister-in-law, Kathy Smith; three grandchildren, Isaiah Williams; Kaitlyn Pursifull; and Jacob Bishop, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A Celebration of Georgia’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating. A Memorial service will take place at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland, PA 15059 on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Hookstown Cemetery, Hookstown, PA.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St. SE, Vienna, VA 22182.
