John E. Eager, a resident of Manassas, VA for 30 years died at home after a long illness on November 2, 2014.

He was born December 22, 1952 in Corning, N.Y. to Shirley Eager and the late Robert F. Eager. He worked as a mechanic most of his life and thought the sun rose and set on drag racing and sports. He is survived by his sister Roxann Vine of Enumclaw, WA, Brother Robert J. Eager of Schenectady, N.Y., his partner and best friend of thirty years, Diane Austin, daughter Katie Eager from Port St. Lucie, FL, son’s Shawn (Mississauga, Ontario) and Danny Eager (Port St. Lucie) and four grandchildren.

Interment will be private and at a later date.
