Elizabeth Ortez Urich, 76, of Woodbridge, passed away November 2nd, 2010 at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington.

Born October 3rd, 1934 in La Lima, Honduras, she was the daughter of Antonio and Eva Pearla Ortez. She was a resident of Woodbridge for eleven years. In May 1958, in Hagerstown, MD, she married Raymond G. Urich, who preceded her in death. During her long career as a property manager, she managed multi-housing units in Charleston, South Carolina; New Orleans, Louisiana and the metro Washington DC area.

Elizabeth was also preceded in death by a step-son, Raymond “Jake” Urich, and a brother, Antonio Ortez. Survivors include a son, Gerald Urich of Alexandria; a step-son, Thomas Urich and his wife Peg of Selinsgrove, PA; and her special canine companion Lucy.

Her ashes will be interred at a private grave side service in Newport, Pennsylvania Cemetery on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. Her ashes will be buried with her late husband. The family will host a Memorial Dinner on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Peking Gourmet, in Falls Church Virginia.
