Condolence: We/ESOL are all saddened by the loss of such a wonderful special and warm-hearted person. Maria gave her heart and soul to her students and her work at GarField...... I know her students' lives were changed to the better because of her work with them. Her best gift in life was her support inspiration and serving as such an exemplary role model for her students family friends and colleagues. Our hearts were heavy for her suffering and now her loss but she was always a positive force in the lives of everyone she met every day. We were all blessed to have known and had Maria as a colleague here in Prince William County Schools. On behalf of everyone in ESOL our sympathy to you her family.

Condolence: I woked with Maria at SAKS. She was a really good friend and a wonderful person to work with. Very kind and alway made you feel good despite what she was going through. Her smile always brightened the day for us. She always talked about animals and told us about the dogs she would find and bring home. May fond memories ease the pain of her passing. With deepest sympathy Joyce.
