Condolences

Condolence From: Ron Hawley
Condolence: My sincere thoughts condolences and prayers go out to all of Uncle Walt's friends and family especially to Aunt Joan Cousins Bill and Bob.

I'll always remember the fun times we all had on a very special summer vacation at the beach with Aunt Delores Cousins Bill and Bob Mom Dad Grandma Zittle Uncle Ray and Aunt Jean. Fond memories include fun family times catching some waves picking up horseshoe crabs even a baby shark!

I really enjoyed Uncle Walt's company. He was a kind sweet and gentle man with what seemed to me an ever present smile. He had a wonderful life and will be greatly missed.

Condolence: Dear Zittle Family

I am so sorry to hear of Walt's passing. I am remembering all the good times we had together----4th of Julys at Lime Lake cruises Alaska Hawaii family gatherings going home on the school bus from East Aurora High to spend a weekend in Dutch Hollow their visits to our house in Florida our visits to their house in Georgia or Virginia and it goes on and on. We had so many laughs and good meals together. And Walt gave me my first (and last) taste of moonshine. Walt and I graduated in the same class at EA high in 1945 and he went off to the US Air Force. We attended a few class reunions together. His father and my mother were buddies growing up in the early 1900's and remained close all of their lives. I will always treasure that.

I have another bit of news that is not good. My brother Pat who is just one week younger than Walt has had four strokes recently. He lives in Florida.

Now I would like to share a bit of good news with you. I have recently reconnected with my old high school sweetheart. I am going to marry him in a few weeks. I am 85 and he is 87.
